Well it is done. Today Megan and I packed up the last of my stuff in the apartment in Ashland. Tomorrow it find its way to Lynchburg. While I am excited about the new beginnings waiting for me in Lynchburg and very excited to live in the same place as Megan, it is still bitter sweat. I will miss Ashland and my family. Both my blood family and the larger extended family I have been a part of in the community. As I closed the door to the apartment one last time, I thought about all the doors that opened for me. Doors of oppurnity and doors of growth. Doors where the experience changed how I relate the God and to others. And then I thought of all the doors awaiting me that have yet to be opened. May God bless the unopened doors to new befinnings.
We will miss you Jason. I thank you for sharing laughter and getting to know you better since we joined Lebanon. My former church never had a Youth Pastor. So it was a great joy that Lebanon had one on staff. You are one of the many reasons we joined Lebanon. I learned to see the bigger picture of the churches importance of mission work not only local but world wide in your enthusiasm for taking Gods word out into the world by action not just the spoken word. God bless you and Megan as the worlds doors open to you both in a new life together. I will miss your smile and not seeing you on Sunday. The Fetty’s can say without out hesitation you are our favorite on of the Beatles. Always remember Ashland is the Center of the Universe so come home when you can. May God be with you Jason.
Cathy, I’m going to miss your humor always lifting me up! I know we will see each other again, as I will be returning from time to time to the Center of the Universe.
Amen Jason, Amen.
Thanks, JB
